The missionary work of the franciscans was very important in Nuevo León. From the monastery of San Andrés there are important pieces such as a Font, a huge wooden beam dated from 1752 and features a Stone carving of Santo Domingo de Guzmán. Other sacred parameters reflected the religiosity of the time.
